Wednesday, July 8

Story Time: My flight to Houston was at 6AM in the morning (Which means I would have to wake up early 😭)! When I got to the airport I went to the kiosk to get my boarding pass. But it didn’t let me pass the home screen. It printed out a receipt that said “we believe in being early too, but check in starts 24 hours before the flight.” At first I was totally confused, and went to ask one of the workers to see if they could help me figure out the problem. She she said “oh you are early for your flight, go check with the front desk to see what you can do.” Instead I decided to go sit down and check my email to see my itinerary and I found out that I was a day early for my flight (7.8.20 — honestly don’t know why it did not click for me when I got the printed receipt 🧾) . I think my excitement to be in Houston got the best of me!

P.S. Thankfully my mom was near the airport to take me back home!
